Students Said To Be Angry But Will They Vote?

Students are said to be angry their concerns over high debtloads when they graduate from university are not being talked about in the federal election campaign.

Lindsay Handren of the New Brunswick Student Alliance acknowledges one reason seniors get more attention is that they vote whereas students, up until now at least, have not. In the last federal election only about 39 per cent of sudents voted.

Handren is hoping the get out the vote campaign on university campuses will increase that percentage.
