Tom Mulcair Pledges Funding For Arts

Federal NDP leader Tom Mulcair warns the huge Pacific trade agreement will undermine Canadian culture while pledging more support for artists and film production if he becomes the next Prime Minister.

Mulcair says he believes in a Canada that supports the work of writers, film makers and all of our cultural workers.

He says the Liberal and Conservative governments have undermined the creative sector.

Mulcair says his party will reverse the $115 million dollars in cuts made by the Conservative government to the CBC.
