Dennis Oland Trial Hears From Senior Technological Crime Forensic Analyst With RCMP

The jury at the second-degree murder trial of Dennis Oland hearing from a senior technological crime forensic analyst with the RCMP who processed the crime scene on July 7, 2011 – the day Richard Oland’s body was discovered in his office.

Payman Hakimian of the RCMP technological crime unit says he arrived at 52 Canterbury Street in uptown Saint John that day at 6:55pm. He says that the Saint John police department had asked the RCMP for help.

Crown prosecutor Derek Weaver taking Hakimian through pictures of the electronic devices that he processed at Far End Corporation. He says 12 electronic devices were seized and those exhibits were taken back to the RCMP headquarters in Fredericton.

His testimony will continue after the lunch break.
