Halifax Police Investigating Potato Tampering Case In Bedford

Another potato tampering case has popped up in Nova Scotia.

Police in Halifax say a nail was found in a bag of spuds from the Bedford Superstore.

The nail had been found by a customer who purchased the five pound bag of potatoes around the end of August.

No one was injured.

There have been several cases of tampered potatoes in Atlantic Canada including locally in Yarmouth, Barrington and Bridgewater.

Anyone who finds an object in a potato should contact police and not throw anything out.
