Thousands of hunters in New Brunswickers will be gearing up and hitting the woods with the opening of the annual moose hunt.
Just over 4500 moose licenses were issued for this year’s hunt through a draw of the more than 63,000 applications that were received.
Natural Resources Minister Denis Landry says he wants everyone to have a great hunt and above all, practice safe hunting.
