Sledge hockey in the City of Moncton, could become the next big thing for sports enthusiasts.
An open ice and coach education sessions will be held this week, with a chance for everyone to try out the sport.
President for the Moncton Minor Hockey Association Brian Gaudet says players sit on two blades and propel themselves around the rink with short hockey like sticks.
An open session will be held on September 26th, at the Superior Propane Centre, formerly known as the RedBall Internet Centre.
