A picture online of a drowned three-year-old boy has many wanting to help refugees in Syria, including the town of Quispamsis, New Brunswick.
Mayor Murray Driscoll calls the photo nothing less then heartbreaking.
Driscoll says a letter has been sent to Premier Brian Gallant offering any assistance the town can provide.
Driscoll says if the greater Saint John takes on an initiative to allow refugees to come to this part of Canada, he would gladly welcome them into his town.
