A fatal workplace incident over the weekend on Route 845 in Clifton Royal prompting an investigation by WorkPlaceNB.
Beverly Stears of WorkSafeNB tells us soil samples have been taken at the site which has also been surveyed.
David MacFarland died Saturday after the excavator he was trying to remove from a trailer rolled over, pinning him underneath.
There will be a celebration of his life on Wednesday at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch number 62 in Clifton Royal on Wednesday from 4 to 8pm.
