Record Breaking Temperatures For Labour Day Weekend

The heat was on this Labour Day weekend in New Brunswick with a record breaking temperature in Greater Moncton on Sunday.

The thermometer reached 30.4 C which beat the old record of 29.9 C from 1983.

And the late summer scorcher continued yesterday with a high of almost 32 degrees – just shy of the record from 1945.

Environment Canada says Bouctouche and Caraquet did break records yesterday – both reaching almost 31 degrees.
