Some parents will say it’s the most wonderful time of the year, but for many kids, it’s quite the opposite.
Another school year gets underway today. Thousands of students in Anglophone East School District are heading back to class.
Anglophone East Superintendant Gregg Ingersoll says patience is the key for many parents today, “For the new students who are starting for the first time, it is going to be a long day for them. Getting up early and riding the bus can be very tiring.”
For the parents, he says it’s important that you make a connection with your child’s teacher, “It’s a good time for parents to make that commitment to stay in close contact with the teacher over the school year.”
