Federal Liberal leader Justin Trudeau is bringing his campaign to the Maritimes, starting off this morning in Amherst, Nova Scotia and finishing up with a B-B-Q in Fredericton last this afternoon.
The polls on the October 19th federal election have indicated, thus far, we’re headed for a minority government with the NDP leading but not by much over the Conservatives and Liberals. The prospect of the NDP winning isn’t so farfetched according to what the President of the New Brunswick Federation of Labour Patrick Colford has been hearing with change in the air.
The latest polling shows the NDP and Liberals neck and neck with the Conservatives in third but close behind.
Organised Labour has come out in support of the NDP even though Trudeau believes he can still win over union leaders but Colford, has his doubts about that.
