Gas Prices In NB Increase

As expected, gas prices are up this morning.

They increased 1.5 cents as a result of the weekly price adjustment in the province.

Senior petroleum analyst with Gasbuddy.com Dan McTeague says the upcoming maintenance at the Saint John refinery, could cause even more increases at the pumps in the coming weeks.

He says, “He says that is about 250, 000 to 300, 000 barrels of production that could be offline, and if there are other refineries experiencing difficulties in the United States, then that could force gas prices up.

Diesel prices stayed the same.

Propane dipped by 0.3 cents.
