Incumbent Conservative MP for Moncton-Riverview-Dieppe Robert Goguen continues to support whatever it takes to have a downtown entertainment centre.
He says his government has worked very hard to get the indirect financing in place to ensure this project goes ahead.
“The downtown centre would be a pearl in the collar of all the great tourism aspects we have,” says Goguen. “Whether it be the Zoo, whether it be the nearby Rocks, or the nearby shopping Mecca the ladies love so much, there’s something and everything for Greater Moncton.”
Goguen says now that the election campaign is officially underway, there can be no more formal announcements on funding from the Conservative party but he will continue with his support in the hopes the project can be finalized.
