NB Special Olympics Athlete Returns Home With Four Medals

A Special Olympics athlete from Riverview, returned home from the World Games in Los Angeles with a much heavier suitcase.

David Tatta brought with him, the four medals he won, a gold, a silver and two bronze.

Tatta, who has autism, has been swimming for ten years.

The 23 year old, who has autism, started swimming ten years ago. He says, now that he has fulfilled his dream of travelling to LA. He is going to take a break from his swimming events, and pursue a new challenge. He plans to try playing baseball and power lifting.

Tatta called his experience in LA, a wild and exciting experience. He says he met athletes from around the world, and it was well worth the wait.
