The City of Moncton has seen the strongest month for building permits since 2009.
The total value of permits for the second quarter ending June 30th, came in at $36.8 million, that’s up from $33.4 million during the same period last year.
The City says the increase is thanks in part to the construction of the new surgical suite at the George Dumont Hospital.
