The Atlantic Lottery Corporation delivered $368 million to the four Atlantic provinces for 2014/2015, and met its projected profit targets, that according to the Corporation’s annual report.
iLottery sales grew by more 10 per cent to a record of 20 million dollars. This was achieved by the over 30, 000 unique customers who made a purchase online.
President and CEO Brent Scrimshaw says they paid out $373 million to winning lotto players. Another $306 million went to the economy through salaries, retail commissions and business expenses.
100 per cent of the profits earned by ALC are returned to the governments of Atlantic Canada and they fund public services across the region…
