In business news, Acadia Broadcasting, owner of 91.9 The Bend, has announced that Jim MacMullin will be taking over as President immediately.
He had been serving as company Vice President.
MacMullin has been with Acadia Broadcasting since October of 2001 when he was Station Manager.
Since then, the company has expanded to 11 radio stations in Atlantic Canada and northwestern Ontario with more than 120 employees.
