The death of a young girl near Fredericton Junction almost 11 years ago has led to the arrest of a 36-year-old man.
RCMP say the man was arrested today in connection with the suspicious death of 2-year-old Kennedy Corrigan.
In April 2004, Kennedy suffered a massive brain injury and she died in hospital a week later.
Medical evidence at the time supported a non-accidental death but that was not definitive.
New evidence has led to the man’s arrest and he will appear in court in Burton tomorrow.
