Severe Weather Leaves Residents Without Power

Many NB Power residents across the province remain in the dark this morning across the province, thanks to severe weather in the region yesterday…

Parts of Southwestern New Brunswick were hit with severe thunderstorms yesterday afternoon. Some residents reported hail, and the rain fell so hard at one point that it flooded Fredericton’s downtown.

NB Power says at the peak of the storm there were roughly 24, 000 customers without electricity.

Other affected areas include St. Stephen, Saint John, Rothesay and Woodstock.
