Comic Book Madness Descends On Moncton For East Coast Comic Book Expo Today!

Calling all comic book fanboys and fangirls Moncton is hosting the East Coast Comic Book Expo today!

Georgio Paulin is one of the organizers for the expo – he says this is the third year they’ve done it, and it’s a creation of local comic book enthusiasts.

He says the show floor will be full of vendors with merchandise that includes local artists as well as more famous writers, artists and creators.

Paulin says this year they’re bringing in Richard Comley, the creator of Captain Canuck and in honour of the 40th anniversary, they’re doing a special one shot issue.

“The cover is done by Marvel Comics Nick Bradshaw, who lives here in Moncton and it actually shows Captain Canuck fighting the East Coast Comic Expo Muck Monster which is our mascot,” says Paulin.

Paulin says there will be 1,000 copies available today at the expo, hosted at the Red Ball Internet Centre from 10 to 5.
