Yard work is never fun for anyone but if you’re using this recalled product then it can be downright dangerous.
Health Canada says the Homelite 12 amp Electric Blower-Vacuum is being recalled because it can overheat, spark, and even catch fire. The products are red and black and were sold in Canada and the United States from January 2010 through March 2015 at Home Depot stores and online.
While there have been no reports of incidents or anyone getting hurt from using this product in Canada there have been over 1300 reports in the U.S. of the product sparking, arcing, smoking or burning
