Question Period resuming in the Legislature today with Premier Gallant and Opposition Leader Fitch not wasting time before trading barbs at one another.
Bruce Fitch says last June the Premier promised a senior’s rights group in the province they wouldn’t touch their income.
Premier Gallant clarified the situation for Fitch.
He says a small limited amount of seniors who can pay a bit more will be asked to do so.
Portland-Simonds MLA Trevor Holder was scolded several times for speaking while the Premier was answering questions.
