Messy Weather On The Way To The Region Today

A mixed bag of precipitation is on the way to the region today.

That special weather statement remains in effect today.

Environment Canada Meteorologist Carmen Hart says we’ll see snow and ice pellets for a couple of hours, before switiching over to freezing rain for a couple of hours, and then changing to rain. It is expected to last into the overnight hours.

More springlike temperatures are on the way starting tomorrow. Highs for tomorrow and Sunday will be around 8 degrees and Environment Canada is calling for a high of 12 on Monday.
