Moncton Man To Be Sentenced in Fatal Crash

A sentence will be handed down today to a Moncton man who pleaded guilty to a number of charges in connection with a fatal car accident.

32-year-old Ronald Fairweather will appear in a Moncton courtroom today.

He was arrested in early January, about nine days after the fatal crash in Bass River on New Years Day.

A car collided with a stolen pickup truck that was pulling out of a driveway onto Highway 116.

A 19-year-old man was killed in the crash.
