A busy morning for Moncton firefighters after a fire at a restaurant located on Mapleton Road at Plaza Boulevard.
Smoke was reported coming from the Skipper Jack’s just before 7am.
Firefighters managed to get the fire out quickly, but Platoon Chief Paul Bruens says there was smoke and fire damage to the inside of the building.
The fire was in the kitchen area, But there no word on a cause just yet.
No one was in the building when the fire broke out, and no one was hurt.
