Codiac RCMP and the Moncton Fire Department are investigating a suspicious fire at the corner of west Main and Enterprise Streets.
A fire broke out around 2 o’clock this morning in an older home that had been converted into apartments.
It took firefighters about a half hour to get flames under control and they were on the scene for about three hours.
Moncton Fire Department Platoon Chief Paul Bruens says there was quite a bit of smoke and water damage in the building.
All of the tenants of the building got out safely.
Police say the fire is considered suspicious and if anyone has information they are being asked to contact Codiac RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
