Two Moncton Women Accused Of Robbing Man At Knifepoint

Two Moncton women appeared in court today, each facing one charge of armed robbery and one charge of possessing a dangerous weapon.

Police say 26-year-old Carolyn Marie Warnock and 21-year-old Andréanne Blais are both being held in custody until future court dates.

Codiac RCMP say a man was robbed at knifepoint by two women early yesterday morning at a hotel room on Mountain Road.

An amount of cash was stolen.

Warnock is back before a judge tomorrow for a bail hearing while Blais, who has also been charged with breaching an undertaking, returns to court on April 8.
