The provincial government is hoping to improve gender balance on its agencies, boards and commissions.

In a letter to stakeholders, Gallant has asked that organizations identify and encourage women to apply for positions
Over the last 20 years, women’s overall representation in provincial government has hovered around 30 per cent.
