A very successful year for the Greater Moncton and Southeastern New Brunswick United Way campaign. Their total for 2014 was unveiled this morning.
Resource Development Director Trevor MacDougall says over $2.3 million was raised in the 2014 United Way Campaign, that’s the most money ever.
This is the 61st year for the campaign in this region.
MacDougall says 157 companies particpated in the campaign for 2014, raising money for social service programs.
All of the dollars and cents go to individuals of all ages who are dealing with mental health issues, physical disabilities, and many others.
