Outdoor Smoke Free Events Beneficial

Planning an outdoor event, and would like to keep it smoke free?

The New Brunswick Anti-smoking coalition has a few suggestions.

They’ve launched the new “Making My Outdoor Event Smoke-Free” guide for national non smoking week.

Coordinator Christy Bigney says this type of event can benefit everyone.

Bigney says when children see smokers, it becomes a normal thing for them…So if it is removed from outdoor areas where children are gathering, it hopefully decreases the chances that they will experiment with smoking in the future.
