Fundraiser Set Up For Robert The Kitten

A stray kitten is recovering well after being frozen to the engine of a car last week.

Kathryn Basham says Robert the kitten was hiding in the engine to stay warm, and the driver didn’t notice until after getting home.

Firefighters rescued the kitten and rushed it immediately to the Oaks vet for emergency surgery.

Basham says they are holding a fundraiser to pay off the $2800 of expenses.

So far they have raised about $1600 thanks to an amazing and generous community response.

Robert will be put up for adoption at the Moncton SPCA once he is fully recovered.
