Hundreds said their farewells yesterday to well known and admirable man in New Brunswick.
Gilbert Finn was laid to rest yesterday in Dieppe.
A service was held for the former lieutenant governor at Saint- Anselme church.
VP and CFO for Assomption Life Robert Moreau says Finn was only the second Acadian to hold the position.
He says, “We cannot absolutely not forget what he has given the Acadian community.”
Finn also worked in the role as the President and CEO for Assumption Life, and was a major player in the construction of Assumption Place in Moncton.
Finn died last week at the age of 94.
