The family of a 9-year-old Baie-Sainte-Anne girl say they are very thankful for all of the support they’ve received both here and away.
Alyssa Sippley has been at the IWK hospital since mid-November after losing parts of her arms and legs to a rare strain of bacteria.
Her older sister Caitlin says she’s dealing with her condition as any little girl would.
“She has her good and her bad days. Some days she has a harder time with things and some days she has… pretty good times.”
An online fundraising campaign to cover Alyssa’s medical expenses is approaching the $100,000 mark.
