Two men are under arrest and will be charged in relation to the armed robbery yesterday of a pharmacy in Riverview.
That’s according to Codiac RCMP who say two men were arrested yesterday evening in the parking lot of the Atlantic Superstore in Riverview.
The men were part of a brazen daylight armed robbery of the Guardian Pharmacy at 645 Pinewood Road right around the corner from the RCMP Southeast Detachment.
Officers say two men fled the pharmacy with cash and prescription medication with the help of a getaway driver in an SUV.
The two employees were not harmed, despite the thieves threatening them with knives.
Two men are in custody so far, but RCMP would not confirm whether or not they were looking for a third suspect.
The investigation is ongoing.
