The MP for Moncton-Riverview-Dieppe sees the Greater Moncton International Airport as a launchpad for much economic development in Southeastern New Brunswick.
Robert Goguen says Halifax is a good model for the kind of thing he expects.
“I mean I’ve seen that in Halifax they’ve started transporting seafood to other markets, and I see some growth in that area,” says Goguen. “We’re well positioned to be able to do that when the time comes.”
Goguen says once the Greater Moncton International Airport has the proper warehousing and storage facilities, he is optimistic growth will take off.
