Codiac RCMP are searching for one or more robbery suspects following a string of unsolved cases in recent weeks in Metro Moncton.
Police say eight armed robberies have taken place at convenience stores between November 19 and December 13.
It’s not known for certain if the robberies are connected but police say a knife has been used in nearly all cases.
No one has been hurt and it’s not clear if a vehicle has been used in the robberies.
RCMP say the most recent robbery occurred on December 13, 2014 at approximately 11 p.m. at the Petro-Canada located at 1849 West Main Street in Moncton.
The male suspect entered the Petro Canada armed with an knife and demanded money from an employee.
He fled the scene with an undisclosed about of cash and no one was injured.
The suspect is approximately 5’8″ tall with a heavy build and he was wearing a black scarf or balaclava and a blue hoodie with the hood on.
He also wore black gloves, black pants and black running shoes.
