For the first time in several years, gas prices in New Brunswick are expected to fall below a loonie a litre at midnight.
In some areas such as Fredericton, the price is already around 90 cents a litre.
Senior petroleum analyst Dan McTeague with gasbuddy.com says more good news for drivers this week with a 7 cent a litre drop expected when the provincial regulator adjusts prices at midnight.
McTeague says market demand has been slumping lately and that has also led to a big drop in world oil prices.
