A 56 year old Memramcook woman, has been charged with five counts of assaults at a daycare in Memramcook.
The RCMP say there have been allegations that inappropriate physical means were used to discipline three children at the daycare and that one adult employed at the daycare was physically assaulted.
The daycare is not currently operating.
The daycare operator, Celine Lang, has been charged with four counts of assaulting children and one count of assaulting an adult. She’s scheduled to appear in Moncton Provincial Court February 11th.
The RCMP say further charges have not been ruled out.
