Protesters from the Moncton Local branch of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers continue to protest cuts to Canada Post services.
December 11th was the first anniversary of the announcement of the cuts – including the end of door to door service.
Linda Campbell is a Vice President for the branch, and she says, “They are moving forward with their plans, but we are moving ahead with our fight to keep it a public service for every citizen in Canada.”
Campbell says they have received lots of support already from locals – but if you really want to help be sure to write your MP to make your voice heard.
