UPDATE – Metro Moncton Road Closures

Metro Moncton street closures update…

CITY of MONCTON:

UPDATE at 3pm

– Shediac Rd. (near Dove Lane): expected to open around 4pm
– Elmwood Dr. (near TCH): expected to open around 5pm
– Arden St (at Jones St.): clear and now open
– Morton Avenue: now open
– Crowley Farm Rd.: water receeding, potential to open late evening or early morning

To remain closed until at least tomorrow (due to structural damage or prolonged flooding):
– West Main (at Jones Lake): unchanged high water levels at this time
– Jonathan Avenue: water receeding
– McLaughlin Dr. (near TCH): water receeding

-Elmwood Dr. at Ogilvie Brook (just passed the TransCanada) IS OFFICIALLY CLOSED. Motorists are requested to avoid the area. With McLaughlin also still impassable, Ammon Rd. is the recommended alternate route.

CITY of DIEPPE:

UPDATE – 2:15 p.m.

-Closed – Fox Creek Road/Marguerite up to LeBlanc Road

-One (1) lane opened IN THE DIRECTION OF MEMRAMCOOK – Acadie/Amirault from Chartersville to rue du Marché

-OPEN – Amirault at Intersection of Fox Creek/Marguerite

-OPEN – Melanson between Rouse and Dieppe Boulevard

-OPEN – Chartersville between Keith and Bonaventure
