Matthew Linus Tucker has been charged with 2nd degree murder in the death of 53-year-old Dorothy Tucker.
The 34-year-old man from the St. Stephen area is Dorothy Tucker’s son.
Tucker appeared tired, gaunt in the face, but calm in court this morning in St. Stephen.
He cried quietly in court, and wiped away tears as the charges were read to him. He wore a wrinkled, brown t-shirt.

He has been remanded into jail in Saint John, and is due back in court on December 17th.
