Big Temperature Swing For Southern N.B.

A dramatic temperature swing is in store for Southern New Brunswick over the next 24 hours.

Environment Canada meteorologist Linda Libby says a double-barreled low pressure system is descending on the province.

Libby says that will mean temperatures will climb overnight with the warm front to as high as 14 C and then fall dramatically tomorrow to near freezing as the cold front moves through the region.

She adds Saint John and the Fundy coast are under a rainfall warning with as much as 50 mm expected with a lesser amount in store for Metro Moncton.
