Sunny Brae Remembrance Day ceremonies attracted over a thousand people as well, inlcuding City Councillors and Provincial MLA’s.
The president of the Sunny Brae Legion Debbie Darte was overwhelmed by the turnout. She says more and more people are taking the time to honour our veterans.
Darte says if it wasn’t for our veterans, where would we be? She also feels it’s important that our veterans are always in our minds, not just on Remembrance Day.
