Good news for seniors in Moncton with the opening of a brand new Geriatric Clinic at the Moncton Hospital today.
The new clinic ensures quality and timely health care for seniors including a fully functional gym, kitchen, and bathroom so assessments can be done to ensure clients will be safe in their own homes.
Dr. Michelle Conrod is a geriatrician with the clinic and says the idea for the expansion has been around for nine years and without the help of the Friends of hte Moncton Hospital Foundation it would not have been possible.
The state of the art $250,000 clinic is replacing an old and cramped space on the fifth floor.
