The hunt is underway for a new owner of the Moncton Miracles.
General Manager Joe Salerno says they’re in need of someone local who has a love of basketball, but who can provide a financial stability for the team, and who is known and has a love of the community.
Since the team joined the National Basketball league three years ago, Salerno says they have seen an increase in season ticket sales and in attendance.
The previous owner departed in the summer, and since then the team is being run by the league.
The Miracles will return to action tomorrow night against the Halifax Rainmen at the Moncton Coliseum.
