The infrastructure investment alone from the Energy East pipeline project could be $2.8-billion for New Brunswick.
That statement being made by Premier Brian Gallant to a business audience at the Saint John Trade and Convention Centre. Gallant making a trip out to Alberta where he says he reiterated the province’s support for the project.
Gallant also saying he talked about how New Brunswick wants to partner with Alberta on any economic or job creation initiatives they have.
The Council of Canadians hosting an anti-Energy East pipeline meeting tomorrow at the Lily Lake Pavillion starting at 7pm. TransCanada is holding an open house meeting on the project at the Saint John Exhibition Association – Building 1 on Thursday from 4pm to 8pm.
