Over 78,000 Centenarians Expected To Be Living in Canada By 2061

How do you plan for life to or even beyond 100-years-old?

While it might seem unlikely, it’s not out of the realm of possibility for you and your loved ones with an estimated more than 78,000 centenarians expected to be living in the country by the year 2061.

The BMO Wealth Institute releasing a report called Living to 100: The Four Keys To Longevity which outlines factors you should consider as we continue to lead longer and longer lives.

The mind is one of these main factors with the report finding that the greatest concern among Canadians when thinking about living to 100 is losing their mental abilities. You should also consider financial security, especially taking health care-costs into consideration in retirement savings, the maintenance of proper health and finally social factors.
