A 28-year-old Moncton man who admitted to stabbing a Maritime Bus Driver, will be sentenced today in Grand Falls provincial court.
Ryan Jason Hickey was originally charged with attempted murder after the incident in April of last year, but he changed his plea for aggravated assault to guilty and the attempted murder charge was withdrawn.
The bus driver suffered serious injuries and required several surgeries after he was stabbed several times on his arms, stomach, head and face.
The bus was enroute from Moncton to Riviere du-Loup, Quebec at the time.
