Moncton City Councillor Happy With Castle Manor Sale

Future plans for Castle Manor are still under wraps although we know the Gothic Revival-style building has been purchased by a numbered company in B-C.

Councillor Paulette Theriault, who sits on the Moncton Heritage Preservation Board, says she’s pleased the city was able to be a partner to help make the sale possible.

The original sale price of Castle Manor was just under 700-thousand dollars and it created a buzz in the real estate circles across the country.

Designated a Moncton heritage property in 1996, the building was completed in 1908 and was orignally a home for orphaned children.
