Saint John Area Schools Seeing Big Jump In The Number Of International Students

This school year marks a big jump in the number of international students attending Saint John area schools.

Superintendent of Anglophone South Zoe Watson tells us they have 100 new students for the school year. She says it was a few more than was expected but they welcome all students adding it makes for a very rich environment to have students from other countries in our midst.

Watson says they had to add a teacher to one Millidgeville school where the kindergarten class had 16 new international students.
